I love the first day of school traditions….
Wearing new clothes that fit and are clean
(No fashion crisis today!)
Taking pictures, lots of them, and silly ones, too
(You’ll get in trouble later if you skip this!)
Giving a kiss or a hug and saying “I know you’ll have a great year!”
(Everyone loves a cheerful send off! Repeat this every morning.)
Driving your child to school
(Who cares that the drop off loop is crowded!)
Feeling grateful that the anticipation’s over
(Enjoy the moment!)
Here’s to a wonderful year of learning, growing and discovering for your tween and you!
